The Brotherhood of Raiskus is a coalition of Sith and their power bases that have banded together for communal strength, protection, and prosperity. Guided by the 'one spoken rule', to betray another dark brother or sister is to invite utter humiliation or death, the Brotherhood offers plentiful opportunities for Sith to grow, learn, and expand their domain with relative security from betrayal.
Over a dozen worlds are cosignatories or tributaries to the Brotherhood of Raiskus. The various fleets and flotillas of the Brotherhood often operate independently, but are called together when a communal threat emerges. At the forefront of these is the Imperial 7th Assault Fleet, a privately funded unit consisting of some of the Empire's most deadly soldiers. The Brotherhood's intimidating Armada has proven critical in several planetary assaults, including New Cov, Apsolon, Taloraan, Kettechen, and most recently Caramonia.
After the death of the previous leader, Darth Morek, the Brotherhood of Raiskus is now governed by the notorious Sith Alchemist Darth Gamli, who leads the Brotherhood into a brave new age to annihilate the Jedi.
Q: Who are the points of contact for the Brotherhood of Raiskus?
A: For Sith, it's best to contact Gamlì (altcode 0236), Goto Dusk, or Vâlla (altcode 0226), or Kariss Solon.
For Imperials, it's best to contact Alariin Mar or Tanren.
Q: What is the RP style of Brotherhood of Raiskus?
A: Characters in the Brotherhood of Raiskus are encouraged to be, colorful, flamboyant, and over the top. Characters are encouraged to lead their own subfactions within Brotherhood of Raiskus, so long as they remain reasonable. Above all else, the Brotherhood of Raiskus is a place for villains and antiheroes that follow the classic Star Wars or comic book styles.
Many of our members have long and strenuous jobs, thus making us more built around events over random RP. But, we do try and get random RP in where we can.
Q: How many events do you do a week?
A: We typically have at least one event a week, but like all guilds, we do have slow seasons.
Q: Do you have a guild ship?
A: Yes we do. We have a fully unlocked and decorated guild ship that serves as the flagship of the 7th Fleet, and a fully unlocked and decorated Yavin IV stronghold that serves as our Sith-central.
Q: Do I have to be a Sith to join Brotherhood of Raiskus
No. The Brotherhood of Raiskus has organizations within itself that cater to differennt styles of roleplay. The biggest among them is the Imperial Seventh Assault Fleet, a large section of the guild commited to Imperial Trooper and Imperial Fleet roleplay.
Brotherhood of Raiskus does not typically recruit or allow non-Imperial characters into the guild. However, exceptions can be made in specific circumstances. All non-Sith characters within the Brotherhood of Raiskus must answer to a Sith within Brotherhood of Raiskus. It's recommended if you wish to pursue this path that you first get inducted into the Brotherhood of Raiskus as a Sith or as a member of the 7th Fleet.
Q: Do you accept non-Imperial characters, like Mandalorians?
A: As of 12/30/2018, we do not--unless the character makes an agreement to serve under a specific Sith before hand. We've had characters try being a general subordinate before, but they haven't really worked out.
Q: Do you accept Dark Lords, Moffs, or other high ranking and powerful characters?
A: Yes, but the stronger/more prestigious the character, the more we look for. The following is our general guidelines.
- Sith Apprentices: No requirements.
- Sith Lord: Shows knowledge about the SWTOR time period and has a well constructed backstory.
- Darth: Shows exceptional knowledge about the SWTOR time period, has a very well constructed backstory and considerable in game experience already. Darths must have at least one level 65 character in their legacy. We typically expect characters with this prestigious rank to be an already established character, and not a brand new character.
Imperial 7th Assault Fleet
- Lieutenant: No requirements.
- Lieutenant Commander: Shows knowledge about the SWTOR time period and has a well constructed backstory.
- Commander: Shows knowledge about the SWTOR time period and has a very well constructed backstory.
- Captain: Shows exceptional knowledge about the SWTOR time period and has a very well constructed backstory.
- Admiral or Moff: Shows exceptional knowledge about the SWTOR time period, has a very well constructed backstory and considerable in-game experience already. THese characters must have at least one level 65 character in their legacy. We typically expect characters with this prestigious rank to be an already established character, and not a brand new character.
Q: My character is a light sided individual working within the Empire. Can they be allowed into the Brotherhood?
A: In most cases, yes. Light side characters can typically find a way to interact and participate with the Brotherhood. That being said, most members of the Brotherhood of Raiskus tend to be Dark Side.
Q: Is there an age requirement for the Brotherhood?
A: There is no out of character age requirement for the Brotherhood of Raiskus, but maturity is required. Brotherhood of Raiskus takes in-character actions very seriously. Offending a Dark Lord might result in serious consequences. So long as we believe a younger player has the maturity to participate in this high stakes environment, they will be permitted to join.
In characterly, most Sith aren't seen as acceptable apprentices until the age of 18, and the Imperial 7th Assault Fleet has an age limit of 18 as well. Younger characters have been accepted to the Brotherhood of Raiskus, so long as their players know and understand this might negatively impact their experience within Brotherhood of Raiskus.
Q: Do you have a website?
A: Yes, we share a website with another guild called 'Argent Watch'.
Q: Is there an application?
A: Yes, there is! And it is mandatory to join the guild.
Q: Do you do cross faction RP?
A: We have a long-standing rivalry with our sister guild, the Argent Watch.
Q: Are there character sheets or an RPG system in place?
A: Although most of our members enjoy RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder, we don't use character sheets. We use our own custom dice system called the ASA System, which you can read about here. We have other dice-based systems for doing fleet actions or clashing armies on a grand scale to give opportunities for our members to show their creations on a grand scale.
Q: What is 'Raiskus'?
A: In one of the older Sith dictionaries, it meant 'power'. The name was picked out by our original guild leader Darth Dominus, over 7 years ago.
Q: Do you guys have your own timeline?
A: We do. As of 12/30/18, we are in 23 ATC, just before the events of Ossus.
Q: Who does the Brotherhood say is in command of the Empire?
A: Empress Acina.
Q: May we call you 'Rice Krispies'?
