The Huttese news broadcast, after the usual flashy advertisements and celebrity gossip, would display a paid-for announcement from a particularly campy Hutt. A purple feather boa sparkles around his neck whilst he strokes a deadpan feline in his arms, the species selectively-bred beyond recognition.
Harsh stoicism whittles away as he describes his plight. The deep voice cracks in pitch. Glowering eyes turn misted with tears.
The Hutt is soon blubbering and squeezing their irritated cat for comfort, bawling over the feed of an old gladiatoral video.
The intent is clear even to those who don't speak Huttese, the feed changing to a shaky cameraman catching a scant few seconds of something massive lumbering by an alleyway in a run-down Hutta settlement. This Hutt wants his pet back.
