Hello, I am someone who has recently started playing SWTOR and can't wait to rp once I hit the level 25 threshold and maybe get a subscription. I came from a discord server that mentioned this site and decided to join to hopefully find people to roleplay with when I get the chance to. I have a nice bit of experience roleplaying, from TableTop to long-form on FFXIV it has been a nice ride (except for the FFXIV part...Prefer not to talk about it). I will say a lot of my characters come as inspirations from anime, video games, and even movies. Each of them resembling my life or some persona I would possibly take in said world. I like to play my games in nice long sessions but will usually take a break or two to not cause burn out or make myself purposefully mess up anyone else's experience. My rp style is more of long form with a group of two to six people while in text chat. But when in voice chat, I usually prefer two to four people so I don't lose track of what is going on. I am currently using my main character Reygre as my rp character as I have used him in the past during my Google Plus rp years.
Names Piit, been an RPer for forever, most active during my CoH days. Ben a star wars fan since I was little as well. I play mostly on pub side these days, but I used to be an empire guy. Been playing the game on and off since beta. I haven't rped in years, so my style is rusty. So, yea. That's about it.
Piit - Pronounced "Peet". The double-i makes it spacey.
Hey everyone! My name is Aaron, but I'm known mostly as Grayron on Star Forge. I've been playing the game for two years, but I haven't dabbled into the RP side of it until now. My guild focuses heavily on endgame PVE content but not on RP, so I'm looking around. Not going to leave my guild, obviously, but I am interested in meeting up with some like-minded RPers for some collaboration.
My background - I've been RPing for over 20 years on various platforms, both tabletop and online. As far as online goes, I started on Yahoo message boards in the mid-90s, first on a Dragon Ball Z board, but I quickly found other boards and eventually other websites that catered to my interests. In time, my friends and I started collaborating on some epic, detailed storylines with rich characters and vibrant worlds. We would spend hours, deep into the night constantly hitting the refresh button on our browsers while waiting on people to post, all the while chatting it up in AIM and ICQ chat rooms. Often times, our posts would fill up the entire screen or more, so it was a lot of effort, but it made me better as a writer. The collaborative process was magical between all of us. To this day, I still have friends that go back to my earliest days of online RPing. The bonds are everlasting.
As message boards began to die down, I transitioned to MU*s (MUCK, MUSH, etc. Basically, enhanced chatrooms with interactive objects and environments.). I've been involved with numerous MUs over the years playing a wide variety of characters from original and themed sources, most notably as Magus from Chrono Trigger. The great thing about MUs was that they had the message board feel, but it was all instant. You could still post in longform but you could interact with the players and the environment of the MU in real time. I've been involved with these for about 12 years now, though as time has gone on, my involvement has sadly been less and less. Still, just like with the boards, I've made some everlasting friendships that I will always cherish.
My goal for SWTOR RP - I want to find a group of RPers that doesn't just want to stand around a cantina and post a couple of sentences about having drinks and hooking up. I want to get involved in full-bodied longform RP that awakens my muse and helps me awaken my creativity once again. I have detailed backgrounds for all of my characters in my own headcanon. I'd love to see how that translates to interactions with other players and characters. I want strong storylines with developed characters. I want to make paragraphs full of detailed posts again. I just want to have fun writing and collaborating with other people, creating our own little piece of Star Wars magic.
The name's CptKrazY, Hailing from a community called Peanut Gallery United. I play as Allizard Crow, the travelling merchant and scavenger on Star Forge. I also play a couple of different characters, each with their own story and each with some sort of connection to my guild, the Carrion Crows. I have two Crows, one for Pub and one for Imp. I play mostly Pub considering that I have a guild on Pub side. Still working on trying to get a guild on the Imp side.
I've done a lot of RP before joining SWTOR RP. I've done a lot of GMod Serious RP in both Star Wars: Clone Wars and Halo RP. I've also dabbled in a lot of forum RP, Discord RP, and Skype RP (though I rather not ever again). I definitely play a lot of MMO games as well as RPG, Action, Shooter, Platformers, and Adventure.
I got interested in this community after roleplaying a lot on my merchant character and participated a couple of events. Most notably the Black Market event on Point Nelere. I'm interested in a lot of events involving selling my wares, basically market events. I also posses armor and weapon items from the game that can be used as cosmetic gear. I know I used a couple of them. Most of them still unbound in my cargo hold of course (mentioned before, I used a few). I host a few events of my own, both in and out of the guild, all depends on who takes it. I also dabble in cantina RP, considering that a lot of the players roleplay in that particular area more than anywhere else on any station. I wouldn't mind roleplaying in the more market sector of the stations but barely anyone does. <insert sad face>
I do hope to see you guys and if you wish to make a purchase or just browse my wares, I can open up my schedule and cargo hold.
I've been roleplaying in SWTOR for about as long as I was playing it, and have a varied array of characters, stories, and interests pertaining to them. Jedi, Sith, Smuggler, Mandalorian- you name it, I've roleplayed it in some capacity. I was recently informed that our server has an enjin, so I of course had to pop in and partake in the festivities. Maybe I'll see some of you on the flipside.
My name is Drayke and I am a Star Wars fanatic. I play SWTOR and have since launch, and I play WoW and have since vanilla, and some other offline games. I am into lore based role play, and no head games. I prefer to keep some distance OOC'ly, because I have had a couple bad experiences with getting to close outside of the game. It isn't that I am anti-social, in fact it is the opposite, but here in the online world, it is a slippery slope when making friends. I do like making friends, but in all honesty, I have been burned a couple times and I am not in a hurry to let that happen again. Not saying we can't be friends, just saying it will take some time to earn that level of trust.. and that should go both ways.
I am a writer and story teller. I like to tell stories with my characters. If something happens with one of my characters in my writing, then I take it IC into the game.. example, if my Sith murders a busload of nuns and kicks an orphan kitten, well, then he did it in game too. What a jerk.. And yes, I am an alt-a-holic. As a disabled man with nothing to do all day it gives me plenty of time to come up with ideas, scenarios, and such. You will probably be seeing a lot of writing from me.
Oh, and I am old. *swings cane* Get out of my space lawn!. I saw Star Wars when it first hit theaters.. in 1977.. probably before most of you were born .
I role play mainly Imperial side, but do dabble in some Republic characters. Mostly just for alts though. I keep my RP mainly Imperial. And one cocky, neutral, greedy, arrogant as sin, bounty hunter who is loyal to the highest bidder.. More about him in another post (>.<).
So, that is me in a nutshell. See you in the galaxy far far away.
Welcome to the Star Forge RP community, Drayke . I really enjoyed your biography of Pvt. Tiberkal Drayke. I'm hosting a guild event tonight, and one week from today will be a follow-up event during which I'll be RPing my Imperial marine. That'd be cool if Drayke could make it since they probably know each other as they were both stationed on Hoth around the same time.
I enjoy reading short stories and other writings by RPers. I think it's an important venue to communicate things about one's characters in addition to in-game RP. You might consider offering a story on how the ongoing resource crisis has affected Drayke or another of your characters.
I look forward to seeing Drayke on the battlefield.
Name's Graid. ICly, Graid's basically a now clanless Mando. He was brought up on a semi-spiritual side of the culture before the fall of his clan - semi-spiritual in the sense that he views the three gods less as actual deities, and instead as representations and ideals to be kept in balance.
Trying a bit of a twist with him in terms of personality. To imagine his personality, he's no raider. Graid is most certainly not the type of character to enjoy invasions or pointless killing. He certainly can defend himself if needed, but he has no enjoyment out of fights to the death. To him, combat is more of an art form - something to perfect with control and precision. His sense of morality, for lack of a better term, could be described as akin to that of Sabine Wren's. He's not afraid to fight or get his hands dirty, but he's not going to go out raiding and slaughtering people either.
In an OOC sense, I'm a twenty-two year old who is starting to work on setting up an out of game business, so my attention can sometimes be a bit split. Been a huge fan of RP-PVP for about six years now, since the days I originated on the Jung Ma server, and have recently started trying out the Sith Juggernaut (or ICly a beskad wielding Mando, take your pick on terms!)
In terms of activity, it pretty much varies from day to day, given the business, but if anyone feels like RPing and I'm on, almost always down to do so - and if there are scheduled times to try and meet up, I can usually make sure to be there so long as nothing comes up out of game. Also, given how the Mandos are more independent these days rather than strictly Imperial, I'm more than down to take part in some cross-faction RP if anyone wants!
Regardless, see you all in everyone's favourite galaxy, and good hunting! Bal ret'urcye mhi!
